Removing Metal Fillings

With Christmas around the corner and New year soon to follow, resolutions are high on the list. Why not make a new year resolution to remove those old, unsightly metal fillings? Metal fillings contain up to 50% mercury, continuously release mercury vapour and are unaesthetic to say the least. We are experts in safe removal using rubber dam. Our replacements are safe, long lasting and highly aesthetic An example of how your teeth could look is below:

Porcelain is bio compatible and neutral. It is does not shrink over time, it does not discolour and it has a wear strength which is similar to tooth enamel. Porcelain is also adhesively bonded; this means that there is a very strong chemical bond from the porcelain to the underlying tooth. Metal filings have no chemical bond and are mechanically retained, a recipe for disaster. Our expert dentists will provide all the options and advise you on the safest and most effective replacement to your metal fillings. Have a lovely Christmas and we hope to see you in the new year.
