5 sleeps until Christmas- give the gift of teeth whitening

There are only 5 sleeps until Christmas! It's not too late. Give the best present you can to your loved one or yourself- teeth whitening. A white, bright, healthy smile is for everyone and not just for Hollywood Stars. Here are our 5 top tips to achieve great tooth whitening:

  1. Visit the dental hygienist regularly. Plaque is bacteria and yellow in colour. Stains can readily form from normal diets. Even some mouthwashes can cause discolouration. Corsodyl for example is used long term. Our dental hygienist will remove all of the plaque and stains from your teeth to instantly brighten them. Our new air flow polishing is simply amazing!
  2. Clean your teeth twice a day using a good electric tooth brush. Studies have shown sonic and rotational brushes are better at stain removal than manual brushing alone.
  3. Avoid heavily staining foods such as curries, oily tomato based sauces, strong black coffee, beetroot and of course, give up smoking!
  4. Have professional tooth whitening using the Philips ZOOM LED whitening in surgery. Within 90 minutes, you will have noticeably whiter teeth.
  5. Maintain the newly whitened smile with a take home kit using Philips ZOOM gel.

Our special Christmas offer is still running. Philips ZOOM LED in surgery whitening AND a take home kit for just £499! Call us today and book the best gift you could give.

Case of the Month October 2021- Invisalign, whitening and bonding

Our case of the month for October was a simple yet effective one involving three of our favourite techniques: Invisalign, tooth whitening and cosmetic bonding. Crowding of teeth is so common, we would probably say the majority of the population suffer some form of mis alignment of some sort. Luckily, modern day treatments mean that teeth straightening is actually a simply and pain free process. In our case, we used Invisalign Lite which is the 'middle of the road' version which typically takes less than 6 … READ MORE

Case of the month December/January 2020/2021

Time has flown by and we forgot to post our case of the month for December so we have decided to combine them with a tremendous case study involving a complete smile transformation. Our client really hated her smile. The main issues were that the smile was not wide enough, the back teeth caved in so that they were not visible on photos and the bite was all over the place. As well as teeth crowding and an overall yellow shade, so a number of aesthetic problems. After careful planning, which is always the key… READ MORE

Case of the month November 2020- Cosmetic Bonding

Our case of the month for November is cosmetic bonding or teeth bonding which is one of our favourite treatments. For those of you unaware of the process, let us explain for you. The Process of Cosmetic Bonding Essentially, the process is completely pain free. There is no cutting of the teeth so the underlying tooth enamel is left completely intact. Now this is a huge advantage! Removing tooth enamel removes the hardest tissue in the body and weakens the tooth considerably. There is no going back. Over time… READ MORE

Case of the Month October 2020- Tooth whitening and bonding

It's the end of October and we have not posted our case of the month for September! We have so busy and time flies but here it is; a fabulous case involving Phillips ZOOM tooth whitening followed by bonding or cosmetic bonding. There are so many tooth whitening options at the moment that it can be confusing which one to choose. In general, all whitening systems involve the use of hydrogen peroxide usually at a concentration of 6%. In the past, we were able to use 35% or even greater but due to EU legislation… READ MORE
