Astra Dental Implant Treatment

Dental implants using are the very best method of replacing missing teeth. There is no debate about this. Dental implants have the highest success rates out of all dental treatments. However, this does not mean that dental implants are a routine procedure. Far from it. Dental implants require a great deal of planning and lateral thinking. It is vital that the dental implant dentist has a broad knowledge of the subject and adequate training. Experience is vital.

Our case study using an Astra dental implant system highlights such careful planning and meticulous execution. Our patient presented with a retained baby tooth and a missing molar tooth at the back. It may not be common knowledge but baby molars are wider than adult premolar teeth and this created an issue in terms of aesthetics and dimensions. However, after careful removal of the baby tooth and immediate insertion of dental implants, Dr Nissit Patel was able to restore the areas with 2 new teeth which blend in beautifully.

Please view the before and after photographs and judge the result for yourself:

BEFORE

A retained baby tooth and a missing molar tooth. Note how there is no contact on this side. Therefore there is no function present.

AFTER

2 new teeth, natural, aesthetic and function restored!

The treatment was completed by Dr Nissit Patel using Astra dental implants. We use only the most researched and reliable dental implants and refuse to use cheap replicas. Photographs are the sole property of Dr Nissit Patel and any reproduction is strictly prohibited. If you have missing teeth and would like to know more about dental implants, please do not hesitate to contact us for a consultation.
